Upcoming Leadership Course

(Accreditation available)

October 31 - November 1, 2016 in Raleigh, NC

How to get workers to do the 'right thing' at 3:00AM when no one else is watching

Human Performance Leadership is a two-day intensive learning experience designed to pull back the curtain, revealing the strategies and implementation tactics behind the most powerful culture transforming process on the planet- Practicing Perfection®.

During your participation, you will learn precisely WHAT to do to take the human performance (i.e. safety, quality, productivity, efficiency) of your organization to its next level, and then to its next level, and on to its next.

Here’s a taste of what you’ll learn/experience:

  • How to establish a sustainable safety culture in six hours (or less)
  • How to capture and sustain senior leadership support for performance improvement
  • How to get workers to do the ‘right thing’ at 3:00AM (when no one else is watching)
  • How the culture in which we live influences the way we think (and therefore the way we conduct ourselves at work)
  • How to move from demanding ‘compliance’ to a culture of desire (the key to SUSTAINABILITY)
  • A simple (yet profoundly powerful) approach to building relationships and eliminating “us-versus-them”
  • How to foster engagement, accountability, and ownership
  • Simple tools that virtually eliminate the potential for human error
  • How to influence another person to do virtually anything you want them to do

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

How (specifically) will attending Human Performance Leadership benefit me / my organization?

Organizations and leaders within them who “get it” are rapidly coming to the realization that the old-school approaches to performance improvement are simply not working.

Human performance represents the ‘ultimate frontier’ in performance improvement. Human Performance Leadership will teach you precisely WHAT to do to take your culture, your outcomes, and your results to your next level.

Is the Human Performance Leadership Training predominantly lecture-based?

While there are periods of teaching and explanation provided by PPI Master Facilitators, Human Performance Leadership incorporates a great deal of personal interaction, team interaction, and exercises to generate an impactful and lasting learning experience. First of all, learning this way is a lot more FUN. Secondly, you’ll learn more and retain more. “AHA!” moments are commonplace.

NOTE: If you just want to sit and take notes without engaging with your Facilitators, the materials, or your fellow participants, this opportunity might not be right for you.

Is there any “pre-work” associated with this course?

In order to maximize your learning opportunity, we do ask you to do some pre-work. *Once you register, a copy of my book, 6-Hour Safety Culture will be sent to you, which we hope you will read prior to attending. In addition, you will receive an email with links to a few short online videos that we would like you to watch, as well as a downloadable Transformation Conversation worksheet that we ask you to complete.

Like anything in life, the more you put into your experience, the more you’ll get out of it. You won’t be turned away if you haven’t completed your pre-work (but you just might start the course with less of an edge than many of your fellow participants).

WHAT (specifically) will I be able to do once I complete the course?

You will have completed the finest education currently available on next-level human performance. You will be given insights into precisely WHAT to do to lead the performance of your team, your department, or your entire organization to its next level.

You will be armed with an awesome set of reference materials, as well as tools, blueprints, and decision trees with which to prepare and implement your performance improvement strategy.

You will (1) be able to figure out where you are headed (and why), (2) have the insights necessary to develop your next-level strategy, (3) be given the tools with which to implement and sustain, and (4) understand how to influence behaviors at all levels within your organization.

Does the curriculum involve an examination?

If you are seeking documentation of Professional Development Hours (PDH) from the Human Performance Association, Continuing Education Hours authorized by NERC, or Nursing Contact Hours, yes, there is an examination that will be administered at the end of the course. Otherwise, no.

Still have questions? Contact Cheryl via email, or by phone at 1-702-331-8391 / 877-832-9492.
